Hi,

Well I think it's about time I upgraded my graphics card. I've currently got a 4870. I've been looking at either a 6950 (and unlocking the shaders) or going Nvidia and a 560.

What would people recommend, either of these or something different?

Looking to spend around the £200 mark, give or take. :D

Idealy it would be 1920 x 1200

Another issue I have is card size. The 4870 fits in my case with only a little room to spare so I can't really go over 9 inches for card length without having to buy a new case.

If that's the case a GTX 560 is probably the best bet which I think is 9", there's also the GTX 460 which is 8.5"... I'm pretty sure all the higher end AMD cards are pretty long although the 6850 might squeeze in there also. Is there no way you can remove the HDD section of your case to fit a larger card and fit some hard drives in the upper 5.25" bays? If so I would deffo go for a GTX480 as at it's current price there isn't much near it.

Unfortunatly I can't remove any hard drive bays as they are all full. Reading the Bit Tech review of the MSI 560Ti Twin Frozr II, OC'd it's performance is pretty close to the 480 and 570 cards.
