So..in crysis in sections where you get 30fps, you'll be getting 40-50fps?
Surprised at that.
Not necessarily Crysis, as that's a game optimized for Nvidia hardware, but in other games, there will be a big boost. Especially with large textures and AA.

30-60% ?!
That can't be right. Or can it?
I had a 8800GTS 512 before, and all my titles did improve by 20-50% at 1920x1200, even Crysis and Age of Conan. The 8800GTS 512 is about 10-20% faster than the 8800GT at higher res, so thats where my figures came from. Crysis went from about 25 to about 35 (believe I was on ultra/dx10/1920x1200 settings, figures taken from the driving a tank level after the port). As I got a bigger improvement on everything else I was VERY happy, for the cash, even though its the 512mb version, the 4870 is still a very very able card. It's easy to lose sight of that.
