Yeah well, it just seems to me for the first few weeks of a product the greed tax gets put on things excessively, where as it doesn't appear to happen over in the US.

From my own experience of looking at the prices it tends to be US RRP + Vat and then an extra £20-50 depending on the product. Even more if a retailer gets exclusivity.

Anyway, after thinking about it some more I've decided to try and use just my PSU to power my 4870's, apparently quite a few people are using the corsair hx 620w to do that, I've just sent an email to customer support for some extra PCI-e cables :-). I'll keep the dedicated SLI power device as a backup just in case :-).
