Hey guys,

wondering if anyone can help, I have been getting some crashes recently, specifically with Left4Dead (game I probably play most at the moment). I notice that occasionally inbetween levels it sits on loading literally forever and when I try to start task manager it tells me Left4Dead.exe has closed.

I think in total it's crashed in about 80% of my games so far, very annoying :(

These are the errors in my event log:

Unfortunately googling it doesn't come up with much.

More info about my system:

New build completed about a week ago.

GPU: Sapphire 4870x2
CPU: i7 920 processor at stock
MOBO: Gigabyte ex-58 extreme motherboard
RAM: 6GB Corsair Dominator RAM (1600mhz)
PSU: Seasonic 600W PSU (this was from my old machine)
HDD: 2 x 150GB WD Raptors in Raid 0
2 x 1TB Samsung F1 drives
O/S: Vista Ultimate x64

I did some googling and found a couple of responses but not much, one suggested turning off Catalyst AI (which i've done, it still crashes) and i've disabled Windows Aero these already due to crashing in WoW when running Windowed Mode.

I installed the 9.1 drivers right after installing Windows and my chipset drivers so the installation should be clean, i'm considering rolling back to something older (I hear 8.12 could be better?)

Finally - anyone else get this really annoying buzzing sound with these cards? it's around most of the time and if you're paying attention to it, it drives you nuts! Has anyone else had this with their cards, if so any known resolution?

I read that it could be PSU related but don't want to buy a new one if it doesn't resolve it.
