My card given up the ghost after 4 years looking for a replacement have a max budgetof 250.

Would love a more efficient card in power stakes.

Mobo p6t se and processor is a bloomfield i7 will these comp slow down a new card? .

looking to game at 1080p only many thanks.

Not enough to notice in gaming. Especially if you clock your cpu to run a bit faster.

What the diffrence between the 280 and 7970 also need to turn pcie 6 pins into 8 pin is this safe ?
