Just got the Sapphire version of this. Firstly, simply an incredible card, especially with a Dell 2408!

Two things though:

1) I have ATI EXPERTool to increase fan speeds to 50%. Its a bit louder, but idles at 40C rather than 65! Now 65 is it at load which is great. However, I have to manually set the fan speed each time I restart windows. Is there a better way?

2) I got a copy of Vantage Advanced with my bundle, but there was no key with it! What should I do?

well i too installed that program to do my fan speeds and yes unfortunately i have to select fan speed then the fans kick in at 50% strange really as the icon is on my task bar basically confirming it has loaded on startup as for the vantage cd key it was on my white envelope on a sticker for my vantage ? but I am looking out for a water block for it and then get rid of the fan altogether asthe rest of my pc is water cooled seems sily having a gfx card on air

Yeah it is quite noisy! I just forgot to enable the fan again and it was idling at 85!!! There must be a better way!

use the CCC profile mod.

i set mine at 45% and CCC applies this setting on bootup

Contact place of purchase and see what they say (especially if close by) or contact Sapphire and see what they say. Thats what i would do.
