Hi,
As above really, was wondering what is a 'safe' or decent guide for when in game. Obviously the cooler the better but is there an actual or official recommendation? I've heard people lowering the lifespan of some Nvidia 8 series gpu's by continuously having them run at around 70 - 80 (supposedly ok to do so), though mine overheated, both of them when I had a 7800gtx and an 8800gtx. Atm on idle my X2 fan speed is at 32% and the temp is in the low 40'sC. When in game, last night, I upped it to around 45% speed and hit around 52C. I was only playing css so it wasn't being stressed hard, I guess its also game dependent.
