Hi.
Id like to get some oppinions on wether my setup should work or if its the graphics card itself...

Ok my machine spec:

Ocz 700MXSP (700w)PSU
Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3P Rev 1
Intel Q6600
2 x 2GB Geil ram
ATI 4870x2 GPU
LG 22" LCD
1 x 18+1 DVI cable

All BIOS settings are optimised defaults.
Ive reset the bios by removing power and the battery and made no difference.
I dont get any display from the 4870x2.
It boots fine with the card in and gets to Windows, no red lights on the back of the card. The monitor goes into power saving mode whichever dvi port i use.
I have a 8800GTX which runs fine in this setup so i know the other elements of the system work fine.
The board bios is F11 btw.
Ive tried changing the dip switches on the back of the 4870x2 to pci 1, makes no difference and im aware that pci 2 is backwards compatible.

So at this point help!!!
Im at a complete loss now, the card was sold as working and the absence of red lights on the back, the fact windows boots...should confirm that? Dunno!

Is there anything else anyone can think of i can try with this card and my setup to get display?
Could it be the monitor or cable? Cant see how as they work with the other GPU i have...

Cheers for the help.

Perry.
