how far can i overclock a 4870x2 i have the xfx version

4870x2 overclocking

I have the same card...are you using stock cooler? I tried overclocking it on stock cooler and I got upto 800MHz on the GPU and 1000MHz on the memory...but it wasnt stable...I have since removed the stock cooler and gone liquid cooling on it...havent tested yet cos I havent finished setting it all up...waiting on a few things but when I do I will be sure to let you know...

Also the figures I mentioned are when I was using both Rivatuner and ATI's version...but with Rivatuner you can go higher but you need a 3rd party cooler which are not easy to come by hence why I have gone to liquid cooling.
