4870X2 - Replacement cooler

What sort of temps do you have now that you've cleaned it?
After I cleaned mine the temps dropped by over 25C, never idles more than mid to high 40's now which is great especially when you consider what card it is. I have thought about getting a cooler for mine but I really don't need to after having performed a surgical clean like you did.
All cards eventually will get dusty, the bright side being that I cleaned mine over a year ago and the temps have scarcely risen. I keep them down with a spray of pressurised air every few months.
Arctic Cooling make or made an 'Accelero Xtreme' cooler for the 4870x2. Unfortunately, it's no longer sold here but here's a little info about it :

I had the Accelero Twin Turbo on my 4980 was a good cooler, the Accelero Xtreme looks to be a bit better with its 3 fans as opposed to two. Only downside is that both coolers will make the cards tripple slot cards, taking up 3 pci slot spaces in your mobo!
This is my 4870x2 i just replaced this card, it is amazing card with this cooler seems to run smoother due to no throttling that u get on normal 4870x2 coolers, I'm selling this card i have quite afew people who want it, One person asked me to hold it for him but not sure coz i want to get rid of it and order another 6970 for xfire, But srsly the cooler upgrade was so worth it 35C idle 62C full load furmark.
