hi guys, getting a new gaming pc v.soon and decided (especially with the stock problems for the 5850/5870 to get the 4890, a nice card that'll do me well for quite a while. Thus my question is simply what card would you go with? what bran more i mean? XFX, Asus, Sapphire? etc

+1 to Vapor-X card. I have an Asus myself which performs fantastically, but they are more expensive, out of stock and at a lower clock speed, so this will be your best bet, good cooling on the card too with the vapor technology a they say.
 
Don't get the 2GB version, bit-tech reviewed that and the extra memory makes no difference at any resolution.

I have the Asus twin fan 4890 voltage tweak, great card but I would get the Vapor-X Sapphire card if I was buying again, or get a normal Sapphire and an Accelero S1 cooler.
