4890 CF suitable upgrade

Hi people

My powercolor 4890 cf have served a hard gaiming life lol and are starting to show age the fans on these things seem to be on 100% all the time even tho i have cleaned them so i think it maybe time to upgrade

my specs are

I7 920
Asus p6t se
3 x OCZ DDR3 PC3-8500 Gold Edition
2 x powercolor 4890 cf
Windows 7 64bit
resolution 1920 x 1080

Looking for a single AMD card cuz would later like to CF again
Looking to play BF3 at high + settings for mp
Looking for the cheapest option
single card must out perform the CF setup

A 7950 will out perform your 2 4890's I would say.
It will certainly be a lot smoother and the extra vram will help in BF3.
With the 670's coming out the price for these should get less, maybe wait a little longer?

Good price, Ive got the 7970 version and its just superb. Can't rate it highly enough, went from crossfired 5850's and the difference is like night and day.
