I have a second 4890 arriving this weekend or Monday, I'm going to keep the better clocking of the two but I thought I might have my first play with dual GPUs whilst I have them both sitting around.

Has anyone given this a try? I've got a 700W FSP PSU so it should be upto the job.

Rest of the system is:

Q9450 @ 3.4Ghz water cooled with Zalman Reserator
Abit IX38 QuadGT
8GB of Kingston PC8500
1TB Samsung F1 or 2x1.5TB Seagates in RAID0

I also have a Swiftech compact watercooling kit with GPU block arriving so should be able to create a pretty silent single card system when I'm done playing.

Is there anything that will actually push this system? I'm currently playing crisis at 1920x1200 DX10 Max detail with 16xAF, no AA on the single 4890 overclocked and it runs like a dream.

Figured out the voltage tweaking too, currently at 975/1100 on the first card.

With my 5 year old 700W PSU i got cut outs During benchmarks or games the PC would cut out. Brought a new 1000W PSU and problem sorted.

Running at 920/1100 but not looked into it too much.

Q9550
4x1066
2x4890.

I kept crashing out running 2 4890s in crossfire at 1000/4000...butI have a 750W psu that has been on literally 24/7 for over 3 years. That's around 30,000 hours.

However it also could have been because the other gpu didn't like 1ghz :p

So they ran OK at stock then?
