4890 Or Wait?

Hey Guys,

I'll be building a new rig in the near future (1-2 months) and seeing as I am an ATI fanboy, was planning on putting one of the new Radeons in for graphics, hopefully seeing a performance increase from my lowly 2900XT.

Basically, what I was wondering is A)Does anyone know when the HD5K series are launched and B) Is it worth me holding off and upgrading once they are released, or just getting a 4890 or 4870??

I was thinking that if the new cards were out around say, August, then I would wait, but I had a feeling it was around Christmas. Guess that's that one sorted then

But i'm probably going to do as Loadsamoney has suggested, the 4870's are a lot cheaper and the Sapphire one seems to have a much better cooler that the ATI reference one the 4890's.

The Sapphires a cracker, got one myself, the coolers silent, and temps are very low.
