i found the KB952287 text document in the windows folder, just delete it? am not using vista still on XP

No. If it's installed you have to go to Control Panel / Add Remove Programs / view updates

If it is installed you will find it there.

alright found it, ill delete it tomorrow and post results in the morning after putting the card in. thanks for the advice
