Hi all. I am upgrading my platform to a p67 board, 2500k i5, SSD & 8th of ram. From a c2d.

I havnt got a spare 300 for new video card ATM, Will a HD4890 factory OC to 950mhz be a bottleneck? I use the pc for gaming.

depending on resolutions.
though the 4890 still has some life in it.
Up to 1080p it should do ok in most games.
Of course it is a serious bottleneck compared to that cpu.

4890 would still be quick enough for most games at 1920 res. As long as you are not talking about games like Crysis, Metro2033, ArmaII you should be fine.
