48hz screen displaying 60hz content

cross post really with laptop forum as no real replies in there.

looking at a 48hz 4k laptop, but wondering how it will interact with 1080p/4k 60hz youtube and other video content? is it going to look odd?

Have you got a screen you can set to 48hz and check?

Custom resolution if you have NVIDIA. And something similar most like if amd

thanks, didnt even think of this.
*googles how to change refresh rate*

Edit- Monitor will only support as low as 50hz and that looks fine, will just test a few games,can't see them being an issue as don't play FPS. Many thanks.
