Is the SSD NMVe or old fashioned SATA and what is the motherboard being used?

Old Fashioned? You mean SATA?
It was selected because SATA SSDs boot faster than M.2, so they are more suitable as the primary device.

Well, was thinking of an upgrade, tempted by a TX, couldn't decide on case, and specs etc. Saw this and thought "easy option".
Thanks

Would have liked free sat delivery tho :)

Please do not moan about paying a delivery charged when we just saved you a few hundred quid. :D

Enjoy it cracking system for the price, the components seperately cost more.

:D. Couldn't resist, my middle name is Ebenezer :).
Very happy and appreciative of the OCUK offer - ta.
Looking forward to Saturday.

Great price... couldn't get anywhere near the price choosing my own components, even with a cheaper case (NZXT S340) and even without windows 10.

Good price for a titan x system, was almost tempted, but none of the components would have been my first choice for a self-build so luckily temptation passed.

Not that I am doubting you on this - but its the first time I've heard this and was about to press the button on a 600P M.2.

Do you have a source for this showing some figures? Want to avoid buying both a regular SSD and the 600P if possible.
