I managed to snag - I think, one of the last 4930k's from Overclockers a few months ago. To replace a 3820 (for various reasons). Got it overclocked, but just wondering if anyone has any views on if I'm being a bit too conservative with what I've done so far.

Setup (general) in spoiler tag:
CPU: 4930K
bclk: 125
Multiplier: 34
Speed: 4.25 Ghz
Voltage: Manual at 1.18v

RAM: Corsair Dominator 1600Mhz 1.5v 64GB (2 sets of 32GB matched)
XMP: Enabled
Speed: 1666Mhz
Voltage: at 1.5v

Motherboard: Asus Rampage IV Extreme (Original)
Bios: Last known available one from Asus website; 4901
Bios settings: All defaults bar bclk (125), divider and core voltage. Everything else is at default virtually.

CPU Cooling: Corsair Hydro H100 (Original) in Pull configuration.
So the general OC I have for the 4930K is 4.25Ghz with 1.18v (can work with 1.16 but occasional freeze of system has led me to increase voltage to 1.18) and the temperatures with all cores on full burn is around 50*C only.

I have managed to push it to hit 4.5Ghz without issues, but it needs 1.33-35v to hit this reliably, whilst generating 75*C+ to over just over 80*C (in comparison to 50*C, that is a massive leap). To me this seems a bit excessive for the heat it generates, power it draws more out of, and possibly life expectancy for only a 250Mhz extra speed from the CPU.

So my question(s) are:

1. With a fully loaded Memory configuration, is this OC too tame or around what you'd expect for a similar setup? (Have a feeling that the fully populated RAM slots is the thing holding the CPU back here)
2. As most settings are still default, anyone have any recomendations on what I can alter in an attempt to boost the OC of the CPU (or even the RAM)?

Thanks.
