Anyone considering this? I live in a area where most can get fttc or an ok adsl speed, but the odd few unlucky ones like myself are stuck on crap 2meg adsl with a cab that hasn't been and won't be upgraded to fttc or fttp yet anyway.

But a small glimmer of light is that I can get 4g ee in my area which it's quite rare for a town I think.

Anyway I've ordered a sim only on ee 4g to do som test and if ok I'm considering a 4g router with external antenna to finally have a decent connection. They only major problem I see is the bandwith limits, which would mean that I will have to keep the crappy adsl for overnight large downloads and a backup.

I would only use the 4g for web browsing and YouTube, but I'm still not sure on them limits

At £1-£4 per GB it seems a very expensive way to watch Youtube videos.

I can understand your pain though as I get around 3-4Mbit and it is difficult to stream a decent quality.

Sometimes I just download the videos I want to watch and watch them later.
