im trying to decide which 4GB set to buy but having trouble figuring out as to which will be best? looking to spend around £60 and so far i've narrowed it down to the below;
Corsair XMS2, DDR2 P C2-6400 (800MHz), Unbuffered, CAS 4-4-4-12, DHX 4GB
Corsair TwinX XMS2, DDR2 PC2-6400 (800), 240 Pins, Non-ECC Unbuffered, CAS 5-5-5-18, DHX
OCZ PC2-8500C5 1066MHz Dual Channel Platinum Series DDR2
OCZ PC2-6400C5 Dual Channel Vista Gold Series DDR2
Geil PC2-6400C4 800MHz Black Dragon DDR2 Dual Channel Kit
Normally i'd go straight for the 8500C5 however what with all the timings etc im not sure what would be suitable for a decent overclock? nothing mental just a good stable boost (i.e. e8400s average 3.6 from what i can tell?)
my setup will eventually be;
P5Q Pro
ATI 4850 (looking to crossfire eventually)
and either e8400/e8500/e8600 coupled with an Arctic Freezer 7.
thanks
