4G Router Recommendations...

Any experience of this Zyxel LTE3302-M432 ?

Was considering this one as it can bridge mode. Other alternative would be the tp-link mr600 which is Cat6. I live in a rural spot so not sure if the 4G speed can go above 100Mbps down, so maybe CAT6 is a waste?

Quite the opposite. Let’s say your CAT4 device will do 70Mbps on one channel. If you have a CAT6 device and there is a spare channel available it will download using both channels for an aggregate speed of 140Mbps. Or that’s the theory at least.

I tried a Zyxel device that looked like that and it may have been broken but it consistently got a signal about 20dB lower than a Teltonika device, both using external omni antennas.

Awesome thanks for the advice. Right so I need a CAT6 device then. Probably the routerboard looking best, do these operate of PoE to a switch, as I have a 5 port dedicated PoE switch or is there a recommended setup?

OK, thanks, there was a reviewer on the rainforest that said it basically wasnt and showcased how he has it up a pole but with a weatherproof box around it lol.

I think people don’t realise that the bit inside the box you can open up is encased in resin and the bit you can open up is certainly rainproof but I wouldn’t pressure-wash it.

There are multiple options but my personal preference is the Quickmount Pro. Just make sure you get the right one as there is one for LHG and another one for SXT/wAP.

The mount that comes with each device is fine for a standard pole though.

Its arriving tomorrow I paid extra £1.25 for the express delivery, want to get as prepared as I can. It looks tiny in the video I seen so no need for mammoth TV pole so Im looking at regular brackets I can get my hands on as its a universal jubilee type clip that comes with it.

It's not a directional device so you can just mount it flat against a wall if that works better for you

Ahh yes its the BIL LHG dish that I think has to point in the general direction.

How is it wall mounted then, just fix the plastic half bracket on wall then slide down the unit so it clips in?

I think it's metal, but just screw this to the wall (maybe stand it off slightly with some washers if the wall surface isn't even) and clip the thing into it

Sorry for the dumb question but is this in the kit (box)?
