Looking to get a little RAM headroom when playing Swtor as I'm hitting 4GB at the moment.

At the moment I have 4x1GB sticks in an ASUS P5K-E/WIFI-AP coupled with a Q6600.

Question: Can I keep 2 modules of 1GB and then replace the other two with 2x 2GB thus taking me upto 6GB of ram?

Yes you can, just make sure the sticks with the same size are running in dual channel mode (if your mobo has that). Also make sure the latencies for the sticks are correct.

its best to try and match ram, especially voltages, and timings
also if the Q6600 is overclocked (it should be ;)) then more ram can affect the stability of the overclock.

edit, never mind, you have 4 sticks of ram already.

download cpu-z and have a look at the memory/spd tabs, this will give you all the info you need about your ram
