From what i can see, the 4Gb model retails for anywhere between £100 and £130.
Looks cool.
The Meizu has a touch screen afaik? (unless im confusing it with something else), and has a slick GUI iirc.kbc said:The Cowon D2 from what I understand is a far better portable media player than this Meizu. For a similar price - the Cowon D2 4GB retails slightly more but it has far superior sound quality along with a much better battery life. The Meizu's shell also mimics some of the "already existing" brands. The D2 on the other hand does not and boasts a touch-screen with expandable memory. Although D2 is aimed at the top-end market whilst Meizu is lower-midrange.

Thanks for pointing it out.
Whats the biggest SD card around? Is it still only 4Gb? Because if 8Gbs come out, then i might seriously consider getting one of those Cowons.
I think your getting confused. The D2 doesnt have ANY memory built in. It requires a SD card for its memory.kbc said:8GB SDHC cards do exist but the current firmware seems to support up to 4GB standard SDs at the moment. There have been several beta firmware versions which may allow 8GB SDHC but I'm pretty sure Cowon will release a stable revision for these cards soon. 8GB SD's are pretty expensive though.![]()
If you get the 4GB model + 8GB SD = You'd end up with a 12GB "Flash" MP3 player.
