4gb memory for £60?

I am after new 2 x 2gb memory to place my 2 x 1gb. Which is the best to get a no more than about £60? Was looking at this.

Corsair 4GB DDR2 XMS2 PC2-6400C5 TwinX (2x2GB) timing 5-5-5-18



My old memory is: Corsair 2GB DDR2 XMS2-6400C5 TwinX (2x1GB)

Could i use both? and have 2 X 1gb and 2 x 2gb = 6GB

The Corsair on offer this week should be very good.

It's hard to say about mixing memory. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

Are you running a x64 operating system?

have a look around the web and you will find somewhere selling Patriot ram for just short of 60 quid for 4gb.

this is amazing value, as standard they run at 800mhz @ 4-4-4-12, and they unbelievably overclockable (just check my sig out).

Currently running XP pro 32bit but will be purchasing Vista 64bit with my new upgrades. So can take full advantage of memory and graphics for gaming.
