4gb memory on my laptop?

ive just got myself a laptop,
its a toshiba Equium P200-1IR
at the moment its got 2gb ram , im thinking of sticking 4gb in it.
will this be worth it in a laptop? and also how do i find out if my laptop will support 4gb?

According to the Crucial website, your laptop supports a maximum 2GB which you currently have

Most recent laptops should take 4gb I think but be careful as a lot of laptops come with 32bit OS which won't be able to see full 4Gb.
