Hi i'm running 4 x 1gb (corsair 2-3-3-6 )memory. However in order to boot 4gb I found that I had to lower the timings to 3-3-3-8. Now how much difference will in make having Cas at 3 and tras at 8?

Ok i've now got them running at 2.5-3-3-6. seems odd that .5 could stop windows from booting.
Well at least thats what I think. cpuz tells me that but then when I have a look at the slots individually it tells me it's running at 3-3-3-8
