4GB Or 8GB

I dunno - it depends on your use. For general use, 4GB is more than enough. For intense video/photo manipulating, then I'd consider 8GB, otherwise not so.

Prices of DDR2 are now bound to go up steadily with the demand shifting on DDR3.. so if you want cheap ram, it's now... You might not /need/ it just now, but in a year you will :D

I put OCZ 4x2GB into my Gigabyte GA-M59SLI-S5 (AM2-940 run X2 6400+) - pretty cool when playing games that I bought from Big Fish Games... it look really very good picture, etc (I also using 2xGF9600GT XXX as SLi). it run pretty fast as Roadrunner not Wylie E Coyote...

I had 6GB 2x2Gskill 8000 and 2x1 CrucialCrucial Ballistix Tracer running in Dual channel for while but my Ballistix stopped working and had to be removed .. I had them running just under a 1000MHZ couldn't manage 1066 because of the voltage differences between brands Gskill needing the least volts and reaching there max before the Crucial Ballistix Tracer could come in to there own,but since downgrading to just 4GB i havnt noticed any difference
