4GB OR 8GB

i notice a minute difference in performance between 4 and 8gb of ram, but then at 4gb i can oc higher, so I tend to vary depending on my mood, and whether im planning on gaming or AutoCAD work.

It deffo helps with alt tabbing out of games etc, but if you dont do that its not important.

Having 8 GB instead of 4 makes a big difference for me - I'm even thinking about getting more. But then, I do spend a lot of time loading GBytes of data into large databases.

For normal use, the extra may even slow you down, as it may be harder to overclock to the same level.

4 gig is plenty enough i had 8 gig no difference what so ever just harder to overclock the cpu. so instead any benefits you get drawbacks
