4gb pc8500 or 4gb pc6400??

Can anyone enlighten me as to the performance difference between a 2x2gb set of pc8500 and a 2x2gb set of pc6400 RAM???

Is it noticeable in gaming??

Only if you need more incase you can OC the FSB to 2000mhz then Memory ideally needs be 1000mhz, 800mhz Memory is good upto the new 1600FSB CPU's.
