I have 4GB of GEiL 6400c4 as per my sig, windows sees 2.93gb of it and was wondering if i can get it to see the whole lot? Using XP Home SP2.

Read about the 'windows 4gb limit' through google but have read lots of different advice some contradicting others...

This is quoted from another forum here
The memory Remap feature is for when you are using 4GB of stsrem memory and XP, this option hardware maps the allocated ram from just over 2GB to just over 3GB with good performance, if you have only 2GB installed just leave this to disabled.

Have also read about changing the pagefile size to increase the size of the ram used or seen.

You might want to have a look at This - which also works in XP, on hardware that supports it and so will let you implement it.

That just forces the Windows Kernel into 1GB and sets aside 3Gb for applications. It's fine in terminal services with Windows 2000, but for XP with a big graphics card it's going to paging out to swapfile all the time.
