Can someone take a look at these pics for me and tell me if there right
Ive just added another 2 GB giving my 4GB OCZ PC6400 Gold 800mhz sticks, but in memory slots 2 and 4 (where the new sticks have gone) under the timings table its lists 3 different set of frequencys, should this be and are my sticks running @ 800mhz?
Sorry for the large pics......
Thankx

firstly, if you hold ALT when you "print screen" it will only take a screenshot of the window you have currently selected (i.e, a very small CPU-Z window ;) ). The DDR800 timings seem to be exactly the same (says 400MHz in SPD tab), however either paste a screenshot of the "Memory tab" or just say what the "frequency" says, should be 400MHz if its running at DDR800.

i never knew that too

SPD stands for serial presence detect, which is infomation stored on the memory - in this case, the memory timings (also I think voltage and size to).

Some memory comes with SPD timings for one memory speed only say 400mhz, but sometimes it will have memory timings stored for other set speeds to, thus you can see some extra speeds on your newer modules.

Yeah 800mhz in the momery tab, whats the other timings for then?

Well it could be that if a motherboard doesn't support the rated speed (DDR800), it will run at the max speed the motherboard allows (say DDR667) so it has timings preset for 333MHz too.
