4GB Ram?

Honestly with the system you currently have I wouldn't bother.

It's overly expensive DDR2 and would you really utilize 4gb of ram anyway?

I'd just save the money.

Look, if you were going to spend £90 on ram you may as well spend an extra tenner or so and go AMD tri-core (and possible quad) instead.

The Asrock board will take your existing ram plus you can upg to DDR3 later, it takes that too. It can also unlock cores so the tri-core might become a quad. Plus the board has a v.good oc'ing bios so you should be able to oc to 3.4Ghz with the stock cooler or 3.7'ish with a decent aftermarket cooler.

The boost the above will give you would be astounding.

Thanks for the replys. I would like to keep this system for a bit longer. Would you say keep this as it is untill I can afford a full upgrade?

Ok. Thank you. I am going to leave it for a while now and get a AMD x4 or a Intel core I with a new motherboard and some DDR3.
