I installed 4gb OCZ Reaper X HPC DDR2-1000 into my evga 680i at the weekend, and after a short play, I've managed to get it running at 1000mhz, 5-5-4-15-1T at 2.15 vdimm. Question is, would I be better trying to push it higher and loosening the timings, or should I stick at 1000mhz at these timings.

How important is the 1T/2T on DDR2? I remember it made a big difference on DDR, but would I be better dropping that to 2T and going for more speed?

1T/2T hasn't been very important for DDR2. Mainly because it's hard to run 1T at over 750-800mhz (nevermind your 1000mhz), plus an awful lot of boards don't even offer the option to run 1T.

But the only real answer to your main question is to benchmark different settings to see which is the fastest.

Here you go....

Is this good??

damn straight..that's amazing really.

I'm definitely picking up a set of those.

That's at 2.15v you say?

Well to answer your question. If that's stable I'd keep it at that...I get around 10350 mb/sec and I'm at 1180mhz 5,5,4,13 2t

Why wouldn’t it run at 1000 MHz on stock seeing as that's what it says it can do? I’m new to the in-depth details regarding memory...
