4gig ram and x-fi, fixed?

a friend wants to upgrade to the x-fi, but he has 4 gig ram and vista 64 bit , there was issues, have they been fixed?

i've never had the problem in the first place even on different boards and before the supposed fixed drivers, it's one of those things.... some get it and some don't.

Yes, it's fixed.

I believe it was a new version of the creative drivers a few months back.

About 3 months ago by Creative driver.

I was one who never had the issues anyhow, think it depends on Mobo Chipset.

Well it's not working for me. I get no sound with 4GB and X-Fi. If I eneble memory hole in BIOS so Vista sees less than 4GB it works perfectly.

I suspect this may be down to PCI slot configuration on different motherboards.
