4k @ 60hz not working

Hi,

I've just bought myself a Sony 4k TV and plugged in my gaming / media PC.

Graphics card is GTX 970 and it's connected through an HDMI cable.

If I select a 4k resolution @ 60hz, the screen appears with a heavy pink tint and horribly overscanned. If I lower either the resolution (1080p) or the refresh rate (30hz), the picture is fine.

I've tried 2 different HDMI cables, both give the same result.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Does the TV have hdmi 2.0?

I'd hope so, not sure how I check...

Presumably a 4k TV has to have HDMI 2.0

Problem solved!

Changed to a different HDMI socket on the telly and all is now well.

Most 4k TV's still only have one or two HDMI 2.0 inputs for some bizzare reason.
