Must be full carbon
High end wheelset, ideally carbon
Di2
Aero
Road specific, not TT/tri etc

Trying to help a friend buy his next bike. He wants to buy once, cry once and not ever have the need to upgrade bits. Set on an aero frameset, carbon clinchers and Di2. He rode the Giant Propel Advanced SL1 the other week and was so close to pulling the trigger but there are too many other options out there at this price point for him to buy the first bike he tried. Although He did go well on it!

Has anyone got any advice or other suggestions?

What does he want it for? Racing or just riding around?

Secretly to beat me uphill I think... But yeah just to ride around, sportives and the occasional triathlon.

Well, the Canyon is the only bike on your list with disc brakes so if he never wants to upgrade bits that one isnt going to go out of date as fast as the others.

Up the budget a bit and get the bianchi oltre xr1 with ultegra di2. If he's going to spend stupid money on a bike he may as well do it properly.

I went for an Aeroad early this year, probably one of the best value disc specific bikes out there.
An Aeroad with Di2 and disc brakes is £4.5k + postage : https://www.canyon.com/en-gb/road/aeroad/aeroad-cf-slx-disc-8-0-di2.html

Drop the Di2 and it's £3.5k (also doesn't come with the aero cockpit)
