Am I making this up or did I read that higher speed memory helps at higher resolutions or was it the other way round and helps more at lower resolutions.

Using 2400mhz with a 5820k and wondering if it's worth going 3000mhz+

The sweet spot for ram is 3200c14.

Ram is bottlenecking in a lot of apps when the Cpu is bottlenecking. This tends to be at lower resolutions if playing on recently released games.

But can be at high resolution too when using older games or software.
