4k, AOC and Samsung not much difference?

Hello,

Just wondering out of the £500 4k screens, the AOC and the Samsung, is the only difference the stand?

Trying to decide what to get.

and the vesa mounts on the aoc, oh and i think aoc has an extra year warranty

I believe it is just the stand with the Samsung only offering tilt?

the AOC has different connections too, but can't do Picture in picture or side by side

AOC:
Connectivity: 1x HDMI, 1x DisplayPort, 1x DVI, 1x VGA, 1x USB Hub

there might be other differences in actual usage too, could be worth waiting for reviews to see how they actually compare in performance terms

Fair enough, thanks chaps. Have had good experience with AOC monitors and after reading gregs review of his Samsung it seems that VEGA mounting is a must as that Samsung stand sucks. Connection wise, as long as its got a DP its all good.

Extra warranty is always nice as well!

Yep, the monitor stand is pretty poor. It does the job but that's about all I can say on it but the actual monitor is sweet, so I don't let that put me off. VESA mount would have been a massive plus but I did know this prior to ordering, so I knew what I was getting.
