4K at short viewing distances

Currently I have a Dell 2711FPW @ 1440P and I sit 55-70cm from it could get a bit further away if was to wall mount it.

At that view distance, am I likely to see much benefit from moving to 4K? I know my 970GTX will struggle to run games at 4K but I only really play WoW so its not a major issue to run at lower quality.

Thoughts?

I went from 27" 1440 to 32" 4k. I sit quite close also (usual desk setup rather than as a TV).

It took a bit of getting used to the extra physical size of the monitor, but I wouldn't trade back now.

I had a 970 installed previously and yes it does struggle in most games.
