After owning an overclockers prebuilt system for years that has served me brilliantly,"Ultima Velociraptor" for anyone that remembers those.I thinks it's time for an upgrade.

Due to frying a couple of motherboards in my time,I don't really have the confidence to go down the DIY route and would rather buy a prebuilt system.

The Infin8 Swarm is the current favourite after making a few upgrades have finally settled on this system.Just a few questions really. The 980ti's aren't listed as being in stock yet there are other 980ti's listed on the website so would it be possible to just substitute those into the system ??

The other main consideration is the monitor and I think I have finally settled on the Asus PB287Q 28" 3840x2160.

What do you guys think ??

Looking into getting a surround sound set up to go with it but not really sure what is the best option there so open to any ideas ??

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Yes if you speak to customer services they can make adjustments such as different cards for you.

Looks very nice indeed!. Id say DIY but especially with a wc setup if your worried theres nothing better than paying a little extra and get the warranty from OCUK to be safe.

I had the PB287Q a while ago and it was a great 4k monitor. Wish I kept it to be honest, instead of swapping it for the acer 4k2k. I now also have a swift which i prefer because of the 1440p and 144hz, get best of both worlds.

But depends what you want and what you prefer. Id personally see if you can try both 1440p 120/144hz and 4k 60hz and see what you prefer.
