Apologise if this has been talked about in a previous thread but can't remember.

In response to the video below, how beneficial do you think G-SYNC will be with 4k monitors?

Would you say this would make 4k gaming a more realistic possibility for people who aren't running quad titans? What GPU setup would you need to get decent fps, bearing in mind with g-sync if frames do drop which they probably will at 4k with anything less than quad titans, you will still get a smooth gameplay experience.

G-Sync is said to make lower end systems much smoother, so from that, I can imagine a 4K screen with all the bells and whistles would make a pair of 780's look low end. It should be of massive benefit in that respect but I hear if you drop under 30, it doesn't do much at all but 30 and above is where it works very well.
 
What sort of GPU setup do you think will be required for 4k at 30-60fps? Minimum of a 780 sli setup or do you think one rumoured 6gb 780ti would cut it?

Depends on the game. Older ones, sure thing, but don't expect to play Crysis 3 or BF4 with any single card at a good FPS on 4k.

It will be better with Gsync than without, but ideally you need at least two cards for 4k, preferably two titans.. Or even three. I think I saw a review where even three do not even reach 50fps on 4k.

Wait a year and then take another look at 4k; Better screens (cheaper too), better cards :)
