Are there any more of these on the horizon? Having a choice of one seems a bit naff, especially considering:
I'd have thought they'd all be chomping at the bit to get out as many variants as possible.
I laugh at the people saying 4k gaming is none existent, all I can tell you on a bad month we sell over 500 4k monitors and the running average so far since last June is just shy of 800 4k monitors per month.
Right now the 40" Philips is favourite for gamers, nearly ten per day selling, like hot cakes. 4k gaming is very real and graphics can power it now if you manage in game settings to manage memory usage as 4GB cars run out of VRAM very quick but still give acceptable performance with multiple cards.
Of course new cards with 8Gb+ and lots of power will mean max the eye candy out with no issues! Titan X will sell very well to these customers and this new Titan will sell in thousands in just the UK with how 4k gaming is developing so fast.
1440P is our biggest numbers with 1080P similar, but super-wide, curved and 4k is over 25% of our overall sales volume! for us 4k is huge and growing, with new big VRAM cards coming and 4k monitors slipping under £300 we predict by end of this year 4k will be outselling 1080P at OcUK, I am forecasting 10,000 4k monitors in Q4 alone this year.
The force is very strong in 4k!![]()
