4k GSync or 1440p Ultrawide? £500 to £700

Ok guys. While I'm waiting for the Alpha 550 to arrive here at OCUK I'm after a Monitor to replace my TV. Yes TV.

Running a 7980xe and 1080Ti. So I've got horsepower for 4k and 1440p. Downside is I play a lot of older titles like FF13 so 21:9 isn't supported on all of those games.

What monitors do people suggest that are in the bang for buck range.

27Inch would be fine for 4k. I'm thinking of the Acer Predator XB271HK as it's only £500 atm.

Have you considered 165hz 27in 1440p monitors? I think the higher-refresh rate would be more beneficial than 4k/60hz.
