4k hdmi cable (hdmi2, gpu, tv)

Afternoon
Bought a tv which supports 4k @ 60hz
Resolution panel shows 4k @ 30hz
Can it be that my hdmi isnt capable of 60hz?
Tv is hdmi2 and gtx970 is
Can someone shed some light?

On mine i have to enable HDMI UHD COLOUR mode.

What exact GPU is it some don't have the correct HDMI for 4k

What TV is it
not all HDMI sockets support 4k at 60hz it needs to be the HDMI 2.0/2.0a port

on my panny TV which has 4 sockets it's only 1 and 2 that support 4k60fps and hdcp2.2

How long is the HDMI cable as my setup should work but with 10m cable the TV won't pick up the signal for 4k, it works fine with a shorter 2 cable, but room layout dictates the longer cable when the PC is in its normal place.

Gpu is msi gtx 970 TF5 and tv is Hisense H50M3300
Cable is 2m or 1.5

I have tested it with msi gtx 980 and it does exact same thing.
Can it be the hdmi cable?

Hisense support said that an update will be coming out in September to fix the issue
Hopefully it was not a lie
