Can anyone recommend some decent 4K HDMI cables that don't cost a fortune?

Length needed probably 2-3 metres each max

I'll give my standard answer, "There is no such thing as a 4K HDMI cable" ;)

You want a High-Speed HDMI cable, Amazon's own basic ones do a perfectly adequate job.

What you don't want to do is pay for Nordost Valhalla 2 HDMI cables

Actually one other question....

Can I get a HDMI Splitter or Switch that supports 4K.

Basically want to share my PS4 Pro/Xbox One X between 2 4K TV's (using either one or other at a time).

4K @ 60Hz (rather than 30) is quite sensitive to distance - upto about 1.8-2m pretty much any high speed rated cable should work beyond that it is a bit hit and miss - you might buy some ropey cable that everyone else can't get to work and its fine or you might buy whatever highly rated cable everyone else has success with and get constant timeouts, etc. :s

What cable length between devices and TVs and what's your budget?

If the switch is kept by the consoles then aaprox 2m to first TV and 9m to second TV.

9m is going to be tough... You're right at the limit and I'd go active cables.

I've only ever dealt with long HDMIs in a commercial setting where a dodgy cable can cost hundreds to thousands so I can't recommend any 'cheap' cables. I've just looked and I do see a recommendation for PureLink Ultimate Series cables although can't think if I've ever used them. Worth a go?

I like CYP HDMI switches...

e; like this

I'm going to assume (wrongly hopefully) that spending close to £400 wasn't your plan :)

Thanks, I'll look into that... I wasn't planning on spending £400 as it's not overly important but I like playing some games on a big TV but online FPS games I prefer a smaller screen.

But I will try the cables as it's not too much problem to just swap out the cables when I need to.
