4K Lets do it ! Some advice please :)

Hey guys,

With the imminent release of the now more affordable 4K screens I would like some advice on what GPU/GPUs are required to run at this resolution.

I'm looking to purchase the new Samsung U28D590 when it comes out and be able to play games such as B4 at full resolution + settings.

I'm currently running...

2600k @ 4.6 Watercooled ( H100 )
Fatal1ty Z68 Professional Gen3
16gig x Dual Channel DDR3 2133 Dominator
2 x 7950s
Crusical M4 250 ssd
500 gb hd
Samsung S27B970D monitor 2k
850 Cosair PSU * IS THIS ENOUGH ?

I've always gone for AMD gpus due to the cost/performance compared to NVIDIA and i'm looking to sticking with AMD. I've read a few forum posts with people running multiple Titians and still seeing them struggle abit.

I have around 700.0 - 800.0 to spend on 2x gpus, I have been looking over the R290 and R290x. Would two of these suffice to run 4k reasonably ? Do I need to upgrade anything else ?

Any advice what to look at would be appreciated.

I'd say for now, clock the living crap out of your 7950's and see how you get on with lowered AA. It'd be useful info for the rest of us

If that doesn't pan out, you have the budget to grab a couple of 290's and 1000w psu (which you'll probably need if you want to get decent clocks on those cards).
