I've bought a 4k monitor but i'm start to get the feeling i should have gone with a 1440. But got the 4k at a good price.
Problem is with 4k and i'm only running a Asus 1080 strix overclocked and water cooled. dont think it got enough grunt for high setting and is struggling.
Question is
I have three connections at the back HDMI 30 and 1 for 60 fraps. the others a display port which am using with free-sync on 1440 setting.
I was wonder if i ram it on the 30 fraps HMDI will this be better for my GPU or stick with the display port but am running this on a 1440 setting?
or run it at 4k but lower the settings in games.
Selling the 1080 and getting a ti isn't a option at the moment
