Hey all,

I've just bought a PS4 pro but have a 7 year old 1080p monitor currently.

Wondering what the cheapest 4k screen/monitor is that would give me a picture upgrade around the 27" mark.

I use it in an office and have it hooked up to PS4 and PC. Sitting quite close and play FPS games mainly so don't like using a 40" screen etc.

Any help appreciated.

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £251.09 (includes shipping: £11.10)

This one....

Thanks!

Is that decent enough? Not sure if I have anything that works on HDMI 2.0 cable wise.

Will an older PC with HDMI port on the GPU still work but just at a normal 1080p setting without any issues on HDMI 2.0?

And as it has freesync does it matter if I have a GTX 970?

And lastly (sorry) - how important is HDR - would his monitor be worth the £60 extra? - https://www.overclockers.co.uk/benq...c-widescreen-led-monitor-black-mo-12s-bq.html

Hi

I would probably recommend you go for an IPS screen rather than a cheaper TN screen that those monitors above use.

IPS panels give you much better colour reproduction and far better viewing angles.

Something like this.

Freesync is only currently available on AMD graphics cards or the xbox one x so you wont be able benefit from this anyway.

HDMI 2.0 will work with older HDMI versions also so you should have no problems there.

PS4 PRO supports HDR so you will notice difference when its enabled.
