Alright, first time buyer of a refurbished 4K monitor supposed to display full 3840 × 2160 UHD. The monitor itself is like new. Likely someone bought it by mistake and returned to the store.
Now the problem is that the resolution is stuck in 2560x1440, despite the box clearly saying it's an 3840 × 2160 UHD monitor. The monitor is an ASUS TUF Gaming series, model VG289 plugged in a GTX 1660Ti with the included DisplayPort cable it came with. I also tried a HDMI cable but had the same result.
So how do i fix this? I don't know what more information i could provide but i'll provide whatever info is needed.
